The following is written by Anthony's Mother on his behalf:

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Coaches of Mansfield Boxing Academy for running such a magnificent boxing club! The standard, effort and dedication goes above and beyond!

From a personal point of view, they hav enot only trained my Son in boxing, they have helped support him, transport him and have given advice to us both through personal problems and he is now constantly progressing.

They teach him fantastic boxing techniques and teach how to build his skills, slowly but surely.

Anthony has been through some difficult times, suffering from depression due to various family losses, school difficulties and being wrongly influenced and having a serious run in with the law. He has never had a male figure to support him.

The Coaches have advised and helped with problems such as vaping, cannabis, weight, nutrition and fitness. They have encouraged but given appropriate tough love when needed.

Anthony has slowly but surely got back on the right track, constantly improving, gained confidence, enjoyment, caring and a competitive young lad who tries hard and now sorts problems as he constantly has someone to turn to.

Anthony is the 2021 East Midlands Junior Development 80kg+ Champion and 2021 England Boxing National Junior Development Semi Finalist 80kg+ and is part of our clubs Roll Of Honour.
