Hector is testament to the sport of boxing.
Hector started Coaching in the late 1970's starting at Ashfield Spartans for a brief period and then in the early 1980's moving into Huthwaite Boxing Club. In the 1990's, Hector started Mansfield Amateur Boxing Club where he would then return in the early 2000's to Huthwaite Boxing Club. From 2009 onwards Hector found himself back at Mansfield ABC for few years.

Hector reimurged onto the Coaching scene when his former protege Rich Fox started the Mansfield All stars Amateur Boxing Club. Hector remained part of the club during its transition to Mansfield Boxing Academy and now Ashfield Spartans Boxing Academy.

As a Amateur Boxing Coach, Hector has achieved what there is to achieve having trained National Amateur Champions at all levels. With over 50 years of experience in the game and still going. Hector is a wealth of knowledge.
